Jamison Firestone
Jamison Firestone (born 1966) is the co-founder of Russian law firm Firestone Duncan. Firestone graduated from Tulane University in 1988 and Tulane Law School in 1991, setting up Firestone Duncan in Moscow in 1993. He fled Russia in 2010 following the death of his employee Sergei Magnitsky.
== Death of Sergei Magnitsky ==
With his close friend Terry Michael Duncan, Firestone founded Firestone Duncan, the legal firm that would later employ Russian auditor Sergei Magnitsky. Following Magnitsky's death, Firestone became one of the chief advocates of the Magnitsky Act which sought to punish Russian officials thought to be responsible for the death of Magnitsky. Videos published by Firestone outlining Magnitsky's allegations against Russian officials on YouTube have attracted over 2.7 million views (as of July 2015). For five years since the death of Magnitsky, Firestone has contributed articles to The Moscow Times in continued protest against the Russian government's perceived lack of action in response to the death of Magnistky.
